Beach Trips with Your Dog: Do's and Don'ts

Wednesday, May 21, 2014

As summer nears, it’s time to hit the sand and salt and soak up the sun with your furry friend! But before you head to the beach, here are some things to consider

The first step should always be to do your research and find out if the beach is dog-friendly and if so, if your dog can roam freely. It’s always a good idea to bring a long leash, just in case. And no matter what, please don’t ever leave your dog unattended. There may be children or others who are uneasy around dogs, and it’s important to be courteous and do all you can to respect those around you.
