Socializing Your Puppy 101

As humans, we begin the process of socialization almost as soon as we're born, being held by family and friends, and gradually participating in the daily rituals of life more and more as we develop into toddlers. Being introduced to new people and different activities is how we learn to be a part of society. Our parents give us instructions and model the appropriate behavior so we can learn how to behave in a wide variety of situations. In school, we're taught social cues, boundaries, communication skills, social norms and manners to treat our peers and leaders with respect.  READ MORE
